As a result of our tremendous growth, we are actively seeking Shippers & Receivers in our Leesport, PA facility. This position plays an integral role in Ashley Furniture Industries future success in meeting our customers’ needs and our continued growth.

Job Description
Below is a list of tasks this position is required to facilitate.

• Loads or unloads product from trailers/containers
  
• Transports finished goods between production/warehouse locations and loading/unloading areas
  
• Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate inventory of goods
  
• Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
  
• Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
  
• Use hand held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
  
• Unload Product - Correctly label and stack product on skid and shrink-wrap to properly secure
  
• Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest
  
• Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
  
• Perform Trailer Audit (Verify Trailer #, Cleanliness, Condition) prior to loading and inform supervisor of any deficiencies
  
• Transport product from production/receiving areas to various warehouse locations using powered industrial vehicle
